| Born in 1951; Priestly Ordination - 4 April 1978; First Appointment in the College -1 December 1983; Appointment as Principal: 1 April 2000; Chief Warden of St. Thomas Hostel, Mar Ivanios College for 18 years; Bursar, Mar Ivanios College for 3 years; Member, Managing Council, Malankara Syrian Catholic Colleges for the last 21 years; Member, Board of Studies, Academic Council and Faculty of Oriental Studies, University of Kerala; Piloted this institution to the 21st century, bringing many laurels home, such as the Status of a “College with Potential for Excellence” conferred on the College by the UGC, the ‘A’ Grade awarded after being Re-accredited by NAAC and led the College towards the conferment of Autonomy. Social Service: Director, Archbishop Mar Gregorios Samooha Vivaha Padhathi, Archdiocese of Trivandrum. Arranged financial assistance for the marriage of 750 poor girls irrespective of caste and creed and helped them to set up a family of their own; President, Karunya Charitable Society; Director, Mar Ivanios Renewal Centre; Director, Karunya Councelling Centre; Director, Mar Ivanios Institute of Advanced Studies. |
