Objectives

This College is established for providing educational opportunities to the young men and women of our country especially the members of the Malankara Syrian Catholic Christian Community. It extends its service to the members of the other communities also to the extent possible irrespective of caste or creed. The College aims at the integral personality-development-oriented education of the youth. In order to accomplish this special efforts will be made to enable the students:

– to strive for excellence in every field of life
– to think in a lucid, fearless and independent manner
– to seek, acquire and apply knowledge to the solution of human and social problems
– to be precise, clear and firm on principles; fearless and courageous in action
– to be unselfish in the service of their fellow beings
– to be agents for social changes leading to the progress of the Motherland
– to be the preservers of the noble human values

Through these efforts the College aims at making its own contribution to the betterment of social conditions so that social justice, equality of opportunity, genuine freedom, respect for religions and moral values enshrined in the Constitution of India may be realised and fulfilled. The College stands for academic excellence, development of skills and character formation based on the love of God and service of man as modelled in Jesus Christ so as to produce intellectually trained, morally upright, socially committed and spiritually inspired young men and women of India. The College endeavours to achieve the integral development of the human personality ensuring the possibility of living a fully human existence.
